Do we just say we want Gan Eden – or do we really want it? And if we do, are we ready to take action to pave our way there?
It is frightening to think of what awaits us in the World to Come, yet it is heartening to know that our efforts here, especially those made when there is difficulty involved, will make a difference there.
If we would only recognize the value of and reward for every effort expended in doing a mitzvah, we would behave very differently.
